If you aren’t lucky enough to score a ticket to the White House Easter Egg roll, don’t worry! There are many great Easter egg rolls and hunts throughout DC, Virginia, and Maryland that are great for kids of all ages. We have put together the below list and will continue to update it based on new ones we find.
Smithsonian National Zoo
What they have: Visit them for special family-focused activities and live entertainment. They will have a traditional Easter Egg Hunt with prizes for the kids participating. Older children will enjoy field games. Special animal demonstrations are planned as well as visits from the Easter Panda!

Madame Tussauds Annual Eggs-ploration
What they have: A fun and educational “eggs-ploration” through American History. There is limited availability in each session. Price of admission will include FULL access to Madame Tussauds Washington, D.C., an Easter egg hunt through the Presidents Gallery, 1 gift bag per child, a meet & greet with the Easter Bunny, access to an on site petting zoo, face painting and Easter crafts!

Tudor Place- 9th Annual Eggstravaganza!
What they have: Rolling green lawns, bright spring blooms, and the elegant mansion on a hill serve as backdrop for this festive annual attraction. Join the Easter Bunny for a special day as children of all ages enjoy games, crafts, an Egg Hunt (10:30 am,) and thrilling Egg Roll Contest (10:45 am) down the grand South Lawn. Crafts include paper chick “pets” and colorful butterflies.

Reston Zoo Easter Egg-stravaganza!
What they have: Join your friends for a weekend packed with Easter fun! Feed baby lambs and goats! Enjoy excellent photo opportunities with the Easter bunny and have your face painted with your favorite animal before venturing out to take part in an Easter egg hunt. They will have baby chicks and bunnies! Have fun with bounce house, a safari slide, maze and more! All Easter egg hunts will include eggs filled with stickers and toys! Children must attend the Easter egg hunts by age group. Safari Egg Hunts are for children 4-12 years old and Toddler Egg Hunts are for children 3 and under only. Children are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets for collecting eggs. Please plan to arrive early for this popular event. Zoo opens at 9 am. Last admission will be at 3 pm each day of the event.
